The Prophet is Here

August 25 2019
I am learning a lot of patience and humility.

How are you my beautiful family?!!?!?

After a long day at the mission office
Yesterday we got together as the missionaries of Juiz de Fora at the church and got to hear a live devotional with the prophet who went to Brasilia, the Brasilian capital and he talked to the missionaries serving in the whole country.
IT WAS SO GREAT! We heard from Elder Aidukaitis (Area Presidente of Brasil) his wife, Elder Cook and his wife, Mark Woodruff (The prophets secretary- AWESME STORY who by chance was also was my mission prep teacher when I was at BYU- how cool right?!!!)
I loved the talk by Wendy Nelson. She is so educated and the way she talked, you felt the strength she had and the testimony she had of the sacred callings in the church.
Russel M Nelson taught some amazing things to us.  He talked a lot about the importance of sharing of Christ’s ministry in ancient America. He read with us and talked about not having fear in the work. We learned so much.

We are teaching a man Elpidio and he is going to be baptized on the 7th!!!! He is so great, I’m so excited for him. He’s reading the “Book of Mormon” and “Saints” and is going to church and institute. He is so prepared for the church.

We had a lot of work to finish off the month just a little stress hahaha.

Ate lunch with a member family on Sunday (the elder
in the front and on my left are the assistants)
I love the gospel, I love this mission.
I love to get to know so many new people everyday.
I loved hearing from the Prophet of God on the earth.
I love feeling the holy spirit of God that teaches all things that are true!

D&C 31
Lift up your heart and rejoice, for the hour of your mission is come; and your tongue shall be loosed, and you shall declare aglad tidings of great joy unto this generation.
Yea, I will aopen the hearts of the people, and they will receive you. And I will establish a church by your hand;
And you shall astrengthen them and prepare them against the time when they shall be gathered.
Be apatient in bafflictionscrevile not against those that revile. Govern your dhouse in meekness, and be esteadfast.
