Happy Wednesday
Sorry I didn’t call Monday I felt so bad
President let us email today when everything opened back up.
This week is carnival here. Imagine a New Year’s party but everyone dresses up like Halloween and it lasts Friday Saturday Sunday Monday and Tuesday. It was hard people. Our usual people were traveling the whole time and the streets are deserted the whole day until 4-5:00ish when all the parties would start up again. So yeah, sounds like 5 days of people who weren’t exactly pumped about listening to two missionaries. But even with all this commotion, we found some great people and had a chance to talk about our message.
Elder Santos said “with carnival and it is the last week before transfers and allthe rain we have had this week, this would be considered a real test. Those that like to workand want to work and those that don’t."I’m so glad that I grew up with parents that made me work. Knowing that it would make someone that liked to work or that would never be afraidto work. I’ve really seen that difference here in the mission
We were in a neighborhood and it was blue skies and we wanted to make contacts on the street and then out of nowhere, the clouds opened up and it rained like crazy! We got trapped it a shop on the side of the street, but upstairs we found a few guys who had seen the missionaries and had questions, that led to a lesson. The mission is amazing to always see the Lord prepare our way.
It was a week with a lot of things pushing against us but it was a great week.
I know that this church is true and it is the church of Jesus Christ. I know that he was crucified to pay for our sins so that we never have to be stuck with what we’ve done or who we are.

Good luck on your tennis match on Monday. You have some good coaches in the
family. Take on dad or Andrew for a match to whip you into shape. My tip is just chill. Don’t get to stressed- just take a breath and serve. Lots of times newbies get too competitive and let it get to their head. Also congrats on finally picking good music ;)
JacobCongrats on the piano federation award, even though the certificate was wrinkled and dirty haha it's better than mine was (I got sick on the refreshments and threw-up on the ribbon
hahaha)
love you all
