The Sheffield Clan sir, The Sheffield clan are We

But first-off Happy Birthday EMMMMMM!
We had a family night and a barbeque with a member for New Years and it great. We played some Brazilian card games. I’ll teach you guys someday. They got a little intense and a little competitive, hahaha.
The president gave us a new goal to have 10 investigators in sacrament every Sunday and so this week was focused and really crazy. We were always calling someone and confirming someone else for Sunday. It was great.
I loved Sunday family night. We made cookies and went to a members house to be a part of their family night and it was so great we watched a Mormon Message and shared some scriptures and talked about “vem e segue-me” (Come Follow Me)
We talked a lot about the day of the Lord how important it really is. It’s like a tithing of the week and it’s sooo extremely small of a sacrifice if we really think about it. With tithing, lots of people think that 10 percent is a lot to give up and the same with Sundays. We could think a seventh of our week is alot to give up, but every sacrifice brings blessings. I know that when we sanctify the day of the Lord, we will be strengthened and be prepared to confront the week of constant temptations and trip-ups. The day of the “Senhor” is made for us -SO USE IT. What an excuse to turn off your phone for an entire day. What an excuse to spend time with family. What an excuse to just sit outside and take a moment to think.
I got a lot of answers this week and Luiz Phillipe and Rafiel and Elder Santos and Elder Costa had 4 others in testimony meeting. It was good to hear testimonies and I think it really helped the members feel the spirit.
I loved hearing of the Sheffield family reunion and I’m so glad you sent photos. I was laughing just thinking about it. Send my love to grandma and grandpa.
Love you all so much
Love Elder Sheffield
