Highs and Lows

OLAAA

High - we had an activity this week and I prepared activities
it was the second half of the evening

low - not very many of our members, we had planned on, showed up
high - the people who were there, loved it and said they need to have more activities like that

high - people here in brazil really chill or as they say here in Brazil “tranquillo”
high - so they are happy to let us in, have a prayer and share a couple of scriptures and then at the end they say they’ll come to church on Sunday
or “if Gods willing”
high - we confirmed nearly 20 people to come to sacrament meeting on Sunday and had really high hopes
low -  then Sunday comes around and we’ve call all of them and waiting in front of the church but no luck
high - but I love the rain and its rained every-day this week

high - I’ve been singing a lot of the primary “ hinos” in Portuguese to memorize them
high - I lead the music in all of the church meeting except for sacrament, I trade off with Vitor
high - we are preparing a Christmas talent show and it’s great

high - we had a baptism planned for this week
lows -  but our investigator is having some hard times with addictions he has, so it fell through

high - this week was a lot of working in the “livro de area” (book of the area)
low - finding and address is so much work
high - lots of talking to people on the streets to ask for directions

I know that Cristo loves and oversees us all
I love being a missionary
love you all
