All dressed up

We had a wedding in town this week so we called the Presidente and got authorized to call it a day a little early and the Elders got all spiffied up to go the a wedding. Suits and black ties walking down the street… maaaaan we looked good.We helped a lot at the wedding. Elder Ribeiro; with his vast music knowledge (both Portuguese and American) was assistant DJ. Elder Guevara; He’s pretty artsy and had some photography experience, so he was wedding photographer. Yours truly -Elder Sheffield: I look so good in a suit they asked me to be the garçom (waiter). I looked so official with a silver plater with deserts walking around the crowd. Hahaha. It was a full-on walking down the aisle "I-do" kind of thing, which was cool.

The next day, 37 of the members, got on the bus for a 12 hour ride to the Campinas Temple. We had 5 of our recent converts going to the temple which was so awesome!!!!!!!
They are so great and it was such a sacrifice for them to pay for the bus ticket, but they had such a strong testimony of tithing and an anonymous donation paid for their tickets. You guys are so lucky to have a temple so close!!!!!!

Baptism of Miguel was Sunday and it was great!! Half of his family is Baptist, his uncle is a preacher and just a few family members in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But his grandpa got to baptize him, and he is such a funny guy always telling a story. Reminded me of my grandpa, haha.

I’ve been studying the plan of salvation a lot lately, to explain it better for my pesquisador fernanda and wow! we are so lucky to have a Father in Heaven who gave his son for us so that we could learn and grow and became heirs of everything that he has for us!!!!

I know the Savior lives and he still leads his church. The church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day saints. If you need answer, just kneel down and pray. You have a father in heaven that loves you
