A chef in the field

Ola gentes
How was thanksgiving?!?!?!
Man a good banana and chocolate pie sounds so good right now.

This week got taken over by travel again 6 hours to go to the city of Lafiete to our zone headquarters.  Lost some time working which was a bummer but had a little more time to language study and catch up on my bible study

Didn’t have a whole lot of money for a thanksgiving feast but we helped a member cook lunch. He was kind of lost in the kitchen, so we helped him out we made this lime and pimenta maranade for the chicken and I whipped out a classic ;) and made a light creamy white sauce for the pasta. It turned out really good!!!
After we left my companion turned to me and said I didn’t know you could cook!
We are going to trade chef secrets and he’s going to make more Peruvian food for us.

I’m praying hard and studying more than ever before. The field is white for harvest and the Lord is there and I’m doing great.

Love you all so much
