God wants people who "love the right"
Sep 21 2019
Soooo… Monday, I worked with my Companion Elder Gonzalez and all the rest of the days I had splits with someone different everyday.
Life in the mission HQ is like that. There’s always something going on and there is always someone visiting from a different city.
Vocês viram os novos videos do livro de mormon!!!!!!!! legal né! (You seen the new Book of Mormon videos? Cool huh!!)
Give Davis um Grande Abraço!!! (a big hug)
Its crazy that its snowing in Utah. IT IS SO HOT THESE DAYS!
I worked a few days with Elder Rodrigues from Liverpool, England. He is a funny guy that loves rugby.
Elder Coelho is the executive secretary. We got to teach an awesome couple, Daniela and Nilton. They lost a brother and their father last year and her mother a few months ago and Nilton lost his restaurant a few weeks ago so they have been really prepared and really tested. We taught plan of salvation and we returned and taught about the restoracion (yeahget that word right) restoration.
I also worked with my old companion Elder Sousa and we had so many little miracles.
We went to visit some families. With Adriane, she was baptized some weeks ago and she always brings her two little girls with her. They are so funny and love to help the missionaries. One of the girls said “mom why can’t the missionaries live here with us.” hahah
I was listening to some old conference talks and I felt so many things that I can do better.
I love that about the mission. It is about learning to be humble, its taking the people at their most self-centered stage and saying “screw your head on and JUST THINK ABOUT OTHERS”. I loving growing and it’s even better helping someone else take their first steps to growing and getting better.
I know that the power and the plan and the purpose of God is this helping us get better.
I love what I read in D&C 124:15. God just wants people who "love the right".
I have so much more desire to be someone who loves the right and be someone who has a hunger and thirst for righteousness.
I love this mission!
