I made a Chocolate and banana cake and it was so good, I shared it with
our zone for zone conference and hmmmm, I’m a good Chef.

Zone conference was so great. It’s amazing that we have leaders to give
us revelation and help us to be more like Christ.

The day of the baptism of Luiz,we got up early because that pool we use for baptisms had a problem, someone had taken the hose home with them, so it didn’t work out to fill it the day before. So we were looking for solutions to the problem we were in. I grabbed the huge pot that we have in the chapel, and we started filling it by hand. About an hour and a half later after running back and forth, we had filled it up a little above my knee. It was 7:45am so we decided to call it good. Then came the next problem it was 7:50am and we were the only ones in the chapel.
We were calling the church leaders and members and Luiz Filipe. They said "Oh, ok we´re leaving right now”. Luiz Filipe and his family and one member showed up at 8:40am and we
thought “oh great how are we going to have this baptism in 15 minutesand dry off to start sacrament meeting at 9:00?”So we quickly got everyone seated and quickly started the meeting witha hymn and pray and bearing our (shortened) testimonies when the 13
year old member girl said “hey you guys know day light saving endedyesterday? It is actually 7:55am” we were shocked....at first we thought she was joking but Luiz and his family confirmed our nightmare and said “yeah you guys didn’t know?”
We all started laughing in unbelief. Seeing as our old cellphones don’t reset automatically and we don’t have the reminders on the radio and on the tv, we had gone completely unaware. We had actually gotten up at 4:00. We had actually been calling all these members waking them up at 6:30in the morning.We had ACTUALLY started early and still had one hour until sacrament
meeting started. hahah I couldn’t believe it.We restarted the meeting more relaxed more spiritual and had an awesome baptism.

I saw him for the first time in 6 months
President talked a lot about what we need to have the power of our calling and talking a lot about how we are holding ourselves back.

I felt the power of my calling this week. I know the Savior lives. I know our lives are a fight but it is the plan of our loving Heavenly Father.

22Feb 20  This week was great. Full of ups and downs. But as the end of the week came, there were a lot more up then there were downs.  Here on the mission I have come to recognize the spirit so much more. We feel the holy spirit to confirm truth and testify of God. God has given so many blessings to us that we might have this spirit to be with us. What a great promise! What have you learned?

Feb 29 2020 Dear Family So Elder Eastwood was asking us about what we had learned in District meeting! And I loved hearing about what everyone said they had learned. I LEARNED SO MUCH! So my new go to question is what have you learned lately? So here are some things I learned this week Today was already so great. Presidents wife came over to clean our house with us to show us how a pro does it. So I learned a lot about cleaning today haha Listening to music while scrubbing bathrooms reminded me good ol’ Saturday morning cleaning at home. We have a couple awesome lessons for today, with investigators!!! Aide and also Josemar and his family! Pray for them! Also, other important people that need Gods help: Jose and his adorable family, Nicolas!, Eduardo, actually… just buy a phone book from Juiz de Fora and just go name for name praying for everyone! What's really important

Mar 20, 2020 Dear Famil y  So just starting off, It's so good to hear from you and I couldn't be safer or better. We're tucked away in the little mountain cities of brasil. I know why God called me right here for this time right now.  Everyone is going a little crazy, stressed out, paranoid here but in the mission everything is amazing we are working our buns off in the service of the Lord.  Preparing missionaries, tracking buses, and flights and everything, helping the missionaries rally around the members and use the tools they have better.  This is the most exciting time to be a missionary! haha  Presidente called us to put together a war room, where we can make plans, so in a couple hours we got all of the phone lines that we had working, a couple whiteboards and started making plans and calling all of the missionaries.  We are keeping an eye on everything.
