It's soo hot We had a family night with some recent members and some members that are coming back, it was great. T hanks for your letter. I teared up just a little bit . I  just want to be a good man like grandpa But it’s hard to be a good man these days. I love hearing the story about him. English class was the best yet this week. I love all of the people so much. We are teaching Danielle, a missionary for another church here in the city . He came to church on Sunday and said that he will 100% come back next week. It’s been interesting to teach him by example. He was initially so shocked that we don’t receive any money and that we don’t go drinking on the weekends. It has been good to feel the power of the calling of a missionary. President has us focused a lot on doing everything possible to carry ourselves in a way that it is impossible not to recognize us as missionaries of Chr...

Baptism of Luiz Filipe Love you more than... Chocolate cake Happy birthday  to Andrew! I made a Chocolate and banana cake and it was so good, I shared it with our zone for zone conference and hmmmm, I’m a good Chef. Zone conference was so great. It’s amazing that we have leaders to give us revelation and help us to be more like Christ. The day of the baptism of Luiz, we got up early because that pool we use for baptisms had a problem, someone had taken the hose  home with them, so  it  didn’t work out to fill it the day before. So we were looking for solutions to the problem we were  in. I grabbed the huge pot that we have in the chapel, and we started filling it by hand . A bout an hour and a half later after running back and forth, we had  filled it up a little above my knee. It was 7:45am so we decided to call it good. Avocado Popsicles With a city full of classic cars, I couldn't help myself but took a few pictures Lots of families make and sell  chup-chup  which is like a homemade creamy otter pop The flavors are a lot more mellow here and they have flavors like sweet corn and avocado which is my person favorite . The avocados that they have here aren’t as savory but they are more sweet ummmm so good! We set up a table in the center of town full of copies of the Book of Mormon Liahona magazines and pamphlets . I f elt like and New York paper boy in a busy crowded street "THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST, THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS - READ ALL ABOUT IT" .  After non-stop 4 hours, we had given away all of the Liahona’s, all the pamphlets of the restoration and the church of Jesus Christ and all of the Books of Mormon that we had.    What a good day. Me and my new companion Elder Cunha of Sau Paulo, Brazil We are famous now... We went to the radio station this week and had a short interview. We talked about our English class we’ve been getting calls all morning to ask were the church is and if the class really was free .  I think I will have to up my teaching this week. The membros (members) are getting on my case to start a music class hahah .  We worked a lot of área book this week .  Its bittersweet You see people who had and have testimonies who still know it’s true, but they are too busy or have an addiction they can’t kick. But we also found a few who are fighting to get back to where they were ,  but it’s hard and it’s a fight. I love studying MRE (Come follow me) in the Bible because , Especially  these chapters have been talking a lot about baptism and missionary work, so there is obviously a lot to take note of.
